ABOUT THIS SECTION
This "Photo Album 3" section contains more photos submitted for sharing by BHS-57 classmates - since the Photo Album 1 and Photo Album 2 sections became filled. Those older "Photo Album 1 and 2" sections show candid photos taken of BHS-57 classmates that were (mostly) taken during their younger years.

This Photo Album 3 ("Senior Fun Times") section is where you can share some of your travels or other retirement activities. A photo or two might be nice to include, but, you needn't provide photos; you can simply describe in a few sentences (or short paragraphs) what you enjoy doing during your retirement years. It can be as simple as commenting on your favorite books you've read (or written? done your memoirs?), recent movies you saw and recommend, mountains you've climbed or skiied, places you've visited (your favorite resort), etc.

Keep your text info fairly short (see examples below); if more info is needed, you'll be asked for it. Just email your info or questions to Marilyn; if you have one or a few (small size) JPGs to include, attach your JPGs to your email (but first let Marilyn know photos will be coming, so they can be received at a convenient time).

MEMO: To submit any photos for the BHS-57 web site, also please first review the instructions on Page 1 of the Photo Album 1 section. (Due to space limitations, not all of your photos may be used.)

PAGE 1 CONTENTS
Quick links to the photos in Page 1 of this section of the BHS-57 web site are below:
  1. Garey's Motorcycle Trip (2009)   [submitted by Garey Vodopich]
  2. Burn's Family Boating Fun (2009)   [submitted by Janet Long Burn]
  3. The "Guy's Luncheon" (Fall 2008)   [submitted by Garey Vodopich]

(Other pages will be added later when/if more pictures and/or info are submitted for this section.)

1. GAREY'S MOTORCYCLE TRIP (2009)
The six photos below (submitted by Garey Vodopich) were taken during his motorcycle trip across several states. Parts of his trip were shared with various friends along the way (and included a visit with BHS-57 classmate, Carol Smith Shanahan, who lives in Idaho).

Picture 1 shows the top part of "the lady" (isn't she cute?) in Garey's garage. Looks like she's suggesting a grab on the handle of a broom or mop, but knowing Garey, his garage floor is already squeaky clean, and he's ready to leave on his bike trip.

(See more of "the lady" in picture 2 where you can see that she has a "MADE IN USA" tag dangling on her jacket near her right pocket.).

Picture 2 shows Garey about to put on his helmet and get on his motorcycle in his garage. (Love that American flag attached to your bike!)

Picture 3 shows Garey outside... where? (I think he's at his friend Martin's home because it doesn't look like Garey's house.)

Picture 4 shows Garey's friend, Martin Conyac, (at his friend's home? in ) where they enjoyed some coffee (cocoa?). Garey says that Martin also runs Corvettes with him; they've been riding together for about 8-10 years.

Picture 5 shows Garey and Martin resting (and making trip plans?) before getting on the road again.

Picture 6 shows Garey and his friend ready to take off and explore the open road. Martin is riding his brand new 2009 Harley.

2. BURN'S FAMILY BOATING FUN (2009)

I've received four photos from Janet (Long) Burn. These four photos will take me some time to prepare. They were sent on a colored photocopy (which is fine with me), but they were folded to fit in a regular envelope. After scanning them, I will try to get the "crease marks" removed for the best quality possible.

It sure looked like a fun family outing on a lake/river(?) near the WA-OR border. John Burn is recognizable in one of the pics, but Janet (Long) Burn wasn't feeling well at picture-taking time; she spent much of her time indoors there (see the Notepad section).

Anyway, watch for these pics to be online here later.

3. THE "GUY'S LUNCHEON" (FALL 2008)

Note: Some photos, submitted for the BHS-57 web site by Garey Vodopich, were taken at a "Guys Luncheon" held in the fall of 2008. I still need to scan them and code them for this page. The pics are pretty dark, but may turn out okay with some manipulation; I just need more time to get them done and online here.

One picture shows shows the whole group in attendance (about 14 men), standing under a sign that reads "Welcome Red Raiders."

Garey V Identified the man wearing an eye patch as Lynn Seeley; I have no news what happened to Lynn's eye. Anyone know?

(I recognize Dan O'Malley in two of these group pictures.)

Watch for these pics to be online here later.
